 Yes, Pres Obama is a sexy guy, thats why everyone thinks he is gonna save the world , and also because he reminds everyone of Malcolm X. (or maybe superman if you dont know who Malcolm is,...who once visited Smethwick by the way,...now not a lot of people know that....) Does anyone read this stuff anyway?? Stevieduzzit

 ok....the answer to all your questions are..

1 . apart from hope there is not much else to look forward to.
2. No but at least he will try more activelya nd positively compared to the republicans.
3.yes compared to george w bush.

and besides it's about time the midwest got some real axes to grind. a choice between a woman or a black man. wicked. only in america.

Because people need hope. He'll be better than Bush and better than McCain, or at least teh mcCain that appeared during the campaign, the pre-campaign McCain was very moderate. Obama will do some good, for the US, but I don't expect much of a change in foreign policy jsut in rhetoric.

 1. People need hope - essential to survival, so we want to believe

2. What is the alternative - we need positive thinking, we can always fall down in the abyss afterwards

3. He is popular not only because he says he wants change - but because he has different ideas as how to lead, delegate and share power

His look - I guess he is good looking

 1. Because, as mentioned, he's following the NeoCon terrible twosome of Bush and Cheney. Following that shouldn't be hard, like whatever doctor took over in Hyde after Harold Shipman.

2. Because most people are stupid, have no idea about global politics and think everything has a nice, neat solution.

 1. I think he took the whole country into consideration when drawing up his policies and embarking on his campaign, therefore more people are looking up to him to do more. Especially the black people living in the country see him as a person who would treat them fairly with his policies rather than margenilising them

2. Well he cant and wont solve all of the world problems, he just doesnt have the power that he/USA used to over the rest of the world. The USA is now too reliant on other countries (Arab states and developing countries like China)

3.Cant really judge on that

 I think the hope is based on moving away from Bush/Cheney and all of the damage they have caused. Evil and stupid is being replaced by intelligent and energetic.
