Forever began on February 10, 2007
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon the day we exchanged our vows in front of the Creator and family and friends. The pastor instructed us to just follow his lead as he showed us briefly what would take place. It didn't sink in until I started saying my vows that forever was about to start. It was the standard vows you have heard a million times but this time I was saying them to the woman I love. It had been my prayer that my words would be sincere and from the heart. Boy did that prayer get answered, because I was looking at my future wife as I said my vows. I looked in her eyes when I started saying them. It was at that moment that I began to listen to the words as I was saying them. It was my proclamation of love in front of the creator and it was Him who brought us together. One of my favorite quotes is "How could you have gotten this far if He didn't love you?" I started getting all choked up and had to take a breath to regain my composure. I was about to start crying as tears began to well. I took a second and restarted on my vows. It was confirmed to that afternoon the words I said that afternoon will be my words to her...forever.
