- You have put succinctly exactly how I felt after letting a word slip past my editor eye regarding my last post. Words are hard, English is difficult; no wonder we, as a society, have resigned to script our conversations into short-handed chats preschoolers would engage with one another when we're on the playground.

No, no. For a while a lot of English class room teaching books had dilemna as the correct spelling...if you are of a certain age and from the uk, you would have spelt it that way and not known it was wrong.

There’s also differences between Canadian and U.S. spellings for common words like: honour, flavour, neighbour. Can you please ask winter to go away?
