How do you handle 'rejection'?As a non-paying member my view may be different than others. I would prefer rejection to no response at all. No response leaves me wondering if the message got through (no matter the way it was sent) or not, then should I try again or even a third time. Earlier this year I messaged a woman - for the third time. When we met it turned out she had not seen the first 2.

I take rejection in my stride. I would usually thank them for having responded at all. If someone is very rude, I block them. I don't bother reacting in such a case.

I don't consider it a rejection - it is just some one's preference for whatever their reasons are. Like you I read profiles from pictures I like to those who reach out to me. I usually pass on the very short profiles and any that I don't seem to check many of their likes. Seems to me it would be rather egotistical and immature to expect everyone I contact to want to pursue even a distant chat.

No, I don't take. I don't ask and I don't get anything, but I avoid rejection by not participating. . It's hard to picture you being 'rejected' by anyone. I do hope you enjoy your July 4th weekend

well I now have a winner and he has been reported. First contact ws from Portland Maine. The one today was from Roxbury MA. I copied and pasted it all to ABUSE team and once I know they have responded I am going to block. His name is igotitrealbad and he's full of so much BS I can teven imagine how he lives had to test it first...I ran truluvlife.com for 8 years and I've seen it all and cleaned it up. In the end, I have over 250,000 members and twice as many blogs. I had NO interest in him. There was absolutely No redeeming qualities that would make me want to 'chat' with him. I agree with your comments and trust me, I haven't given him a second thought. Thank you for dropping by and sharing your perspective.
