 We live in the microwave generation. Hello! Let's fuck. Oh, before I leave, what's your name. Whatever happened to long walks, holding hands, stolen kisses and curled toes? Whatever happened to silent embraces, sitting close to each other in the car (Oh for bench seats to come back), making out? Now its all bout doing and not being. Sad state of affairs.... literally. Yes, a hug, a real hug would be nice. Perhaps that would put me into the holiday spirit.

Being treated like a disposable commodity takes an emotional toll.
Virtual meetings, texting and phone calls only take things so far. NOTHING beats physically connecting with another human being. Hope you receive the wanted hug soon. Thank you for dropping by and commenting.
