For as long as I can remember, the First of April has been a day of silliness. I tried to look up the source of the day and saw different claims. So the heck with it, just enjoy it for the fun of it. There are some elaborate ruses , but I have always enjoyed the simple jokesters activities. In school, the day was sometimes mayhem. In the military it was a bit of a nightmare, a disciplined environment with occasional blasts of silliness. Now there is not much of it since us old folks usually behave ourselves . Do you enjoy the April fools day entertainment? Are you of the pranksters? Have any every gone bad that you know of?
