June 7th
June 7th We are one day past the anniversary of one of the most important days in history, the invasion of France by the Allies in 1944. Hundreds of thousands of men, and women, put their lives on the line for freedom. I wonder what they would think about what is going on in the US right now, and in cities all around the world? I can't help but think that they would be looking down and shaking their heads, seeing the country they fought for hurting like this. Wondering why so little had changed ….. wondering why troops were used against their own civilians ….. wondering how their country, that they bled and died was so divided, unwilling work together, with a leader whose actions are scarily similar to the one they fought. One that will obstruct, block, and deflect any hope of progress, no matter what lip service he tweets at the protestors. That horrible leader, through his actions, caused the free world to unite against him, pushing the greatest generation to feats even they couldn't believe. If we are lucky, and I truly hope we are, our southern cousins will come to the realization that they must unite to remove the abomination from the White House on Nov 3, in such overwhelming numbers that he won't be able to lie his way into staying … and don't think he wouldn't. For the sake of the free world …… please Drop in and visit my blog sometime, but you'll probably regret it |

Things are really bad now. But, these things occureed way befoe 2016 before he appeared. Even a 2 term black president couldn’t or wouldn’t or didn’t resolve it. It will take more than getting him out and hopefully we can achieve that with a new governing body. Remember, we also have a congress with some pretty long in the tooth members. Time for the young ones to give it a go. He may not be doing right but he also is not the entire problem. That scene is too simple but it may be a start.

"least we forget" " least we forget" those words burn in my mind like a hot branding iron. did you forget that when our "white allies invaded france... blacks were not allowed to join with whites that blacks did not have the right to vote or eat in "white" establishments... so when you remember those that gave their life, their limbs, their hearts and minds so that "we may be free" let us also remember the americam-asian population that were enslaved when we fought japan... "least we forget" the next time you want to go out in public in this pandemic we face my right to safety was fought for more than your right to infect me "least we forget" the next time we cry "they overrun our country, and take our jobs" all those that died so that the WORLD would know freedom "least we forget" were words so that not only we remember those that fought... but also why the fought "least we forget" are words set in stone to remember the monstrosities humans have inflicted on humans "least we forget" are words written in blood and tears, and hopes and dreams that all that they gave up so that we could be free... would be repaid by us with understanding, compassion, love. that we remember them not once a year with parades, speeches, an discounts on luxuries.... but that we remember that they died for that person... yes the one that you look down on our fathers, grandfathers our uncles and cousins our neighbors they fought so bravely so that when you look down at that person... you put out you hand and say to them "stand proud brother/sister. to many have died so that you may be my equal!" >>>>>>>>>>>>> LEAST WE FORGET<<<<<<<<<< there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

If anyone looks long enough in any country's history; they will find "skeletons" … what everyone needs to do to make change happen is to start by "Doing the next right thing"
