USA recognizes Cuba! I'm watching the news right now. President Obama is speaking about normalizing diplomatic relations with Cuba, and establishing an embassy in Havana. Since the revolution in 1959, when I was eight years old, we have been mortal enemies. It hasn't helped either nation- on the contrary it has set us both back. That's great news. Perhaps Obama is going for his legacy, though it doesn't quite compare with Nixon and China or Reagan and Soviet Union, but at least Obama has not had a Watergate or an Iran-Contra affair.
