It isn't that I really hate the term, or fuck buddy either, but it's one of those phrases that are all opinion and not much else. Yes, you can convey something of what it is when you use it, but I don't have enough fingers and toes to count how many times I've read the definitive explanation of its meaning, and of course that settles exactly nothing. I don't care for "sapiosexual" either, but I had fun writing about it. These three terms seem very trendy to me, and very cool too, and you know how much the uncool resent the cool.
