I think it would be wise if you get all the Facts before you just assume what happened. The more I learn to more it sounds like the city of Flint has a lot of blame in this. Starting back in the late 70 when the EPA told city's to identify lead lines in homes and replace them. Sounds like a lot of people failed

Good observations. Maybe corporations are not evil, but they are not ethical. The government/corporations (it is hard to tell the difference these days) permit it for short term gains. When trade regulations, "offshore" tax shelters, etc. are addressed and jobs return to the U.S. things will turn around.

My brother in law is from Midland Mich.He and my sister just moved out here for retirement.Two months out here and there finding the weirdest cancer in his lung and stomach.Land of DOW is the thought!

Michigan is a beautiful place, but much of it, especially in the industrial southeast, is heavily polluted. Our own Kalamazoo River is laden with PCBs, and recently the broken Enbridge pipeline dumped over a million gallons of oil into our river. It's a travesty anywhere, but water is our greatest resource in Michigan.
