 I didn't follow her blog but liked her attitude and good nature. The fact that she was suspended but not the bully is disturbing. It shows that this site just as bigoted and ruthless as the "reigning queen".
Don't know if anyone noticed, the bully is operating under at least two profiles that competing with one another.
I'd like to see NiceLips back and the bigot out.

It's how she got the top blogger spot and how she kept it for so long. It takes a very jaundiced view of people to try to make that work for you.

 I didn't watch her blog but wherever I saw her comments she did seem very pleasant and good humoured. It's a pity that she was the object of such a nasty bullying campaign and an even greater pity that the bully seems to have been rewarded.. That said if I was Nicelips I wouldn't want to come back to a site where some are treated more equally than others. It really stinks.

You're right. We're all different and we're going to have disagreements. But this last one was over the top. Of all places this is where we're supposed to be able to express our sexuality freely and openly, which is what nice was doing. And she was pushed, prodded, poked and pilloried for it.

Correct me if I'm wrong - TOU govern this site's use, but the laws of the land govern this site's conduct. Any civil rights attorney could set Various, Inc. straight with just a letter.

I don't know anything about the legal aspect of this, but I would guess that you're correct. Which explains why site support is now trying to pretend they LOVE nicelipss even after ignoring her for months. And it does stick in my craw to see the bully rewarded. The TOU is spotty in how it's enforced- it apparently depends on who you are.

Does blogging do anything about anything? I doubt that blogging about nicelipss will bring her back. I doubt that she wants to come back. I doubt that I'd want to come back after the kind of shit she put up with. See how full of doubt I am? But it certainly won't hurt anything, will it? Can you think of anyone who might object to us remembering her with fond regret?

If she hears from a friend that we miss her and still hold her in high regard, and that cheers her up, then it was worth doing it.

I would have preferred to see her treated well in the first place. It isn't as if she had done something to deserve being bullied. I do. She could have turned her demotion on the list into something of a victory by being humble about it, and demonstrated some class and magnanimity about it. She might have said something congratulatory, and alluded to having had a long run and enjoying it. That alone might have put her back where she wants to be. It looks like she just doesn't have it in her.

 I stopped by her blog a few times, and like you said it was always nice and fun. I didn't know all that was going on and wish her all the best. I am off to damnedvixen's blog per your recommendation (although I always have some trepidation in damnedvixen land).
