I've never hitchhiked. In fact, it was instilled in me by my parents not to pick up hitchhikers. I guess it's the fear of tghe unknown, but you've made that unknown exciting. I now feel a bit mean about not picking up hitchhikers.

My youth was never spent hitching lifts....it was just too dangerous where I lived with a child molester on the prowl for over 10 years. I probably missed out on a lot of fun but at least I stayed safe.  ~~Anais Nin~~

I'm not sure if I do. My mom might have some. I wrote her regularly in those days, and my sisters too. I was slender with shoulder length black hair, and I didn't have a lot of trouble getting laid, if that helps. I'd like to see that pic. This was a great read.

foot loose and fancy free I ditched the usa and did it in England and france busking and cleaning villas for eating money and living in a cabnon wit no toilet or running water. lord how I loved those times. I met some of the most amazing people. once saw a busker bite the head off a live chicken. he was batshit crazy. You cannot conceive the many without the one.
