 Jimmy Piersal got a job as a radio announcer for the AAA team in Portland sometime after the White Sox invited him to announce elsewhere. But he still got in on announcing '77's South Side Hit Men and Carlton Fisk going from the Red Sox to the '81 White Sox.

An early spring weekend series in '81 had the Chisox at Fenway, and Fisk in his first trip to Boston as an opponent. Fisk comes to bat and some fans in the Fenway CF bleachers held up a bed sheet with letters three feet high FUCK FISK.

 That was an awesome game. I had a chance to see the end of it at the sports bar in the hotel with everyone packed in one small room. Hugs V
