Old fashioned

Maybe I'm old-fashioned and maybe I'm not with the times but I have noticed a trend with young women where they are pursuing men. They are paying for everything, buying them gifts, taking them out even paying their bills. I have seen my own engaging in this behavior. Now maybe I'm dating myself but I find it fascinating that this is going on. At first I thought it was just locally here in Virginia but having having spoken with a friend of mine she says it's happening up in Pennsylvania where we are both originally from. She is seeing girls at the age 25 and under buying male companions. Has anyone else noticed this trend and what do you think about it? Do you think it's time that women were the agressors?

 Women are doing things outside their bounds all the time theses days. I am not a sexist but some men are selling out and not being men any more.

 Its always happened, it jus seems to be more common with the younger generation. I knew a family in my neighborhood growing up where the Mom went to work and the father laid around doing whatever. My grandma used to say he was "so sorry he wouldnt work in a pie factory tasting pies"..lol.

 I'm not going to financially carry some man but if I make as much as (or more) than a man I'm dating, I'm certainly going to offerto split the bill or pick up the tab some if the time.

 I like to treat women as equals, and I don't mind picking up the tab or splitting it. If I want to eat at a certain place, and it's outside the woman's budget, I'll pick it up, period. If a woman wants to pick it up, the next time for instance, I have no problem. The thing is to work it out. Times are changing, and there are a lot more individual differences.
