The stars are shining Do you think what Dr. Hill had say about Russia and Putin and their interference will sink in the Republicans heads or will they continue on with their deceptive manipulation of the truth and facts? The Republicans have been using their twisted distortion of the truth for misleading their constituency for quite a while now and I don't see them giving up their illusion. They will do anything for political power and the truth is nothing more than a toy to be played with regardless of the consequences. Their acceptance of $ from Russian sources through whatever channels has been exposed and yet they claim no influence on their actions. But what do we hear when they open their mouths? Denial of Russian interference and attempts to blame the interference on the Ukraine. Hmmmm, who from shifting the blame for the interference in the election on the Ukraine? Vive La Difference |

Unfortunately the Scotsman is right. It's all about the money. It's going to be a long hard slog to fix it and we won't get anywhere fast as long as the Republicans keep feeding their base with socially regressive and repressive policies. The sad fact is, much of the country IS racist and misogynist, and they won't be going away when trump goes. We're stuck with our original sins for the forseeable future. Someone transcribing and doing a sloppy job or maybe some words are sensored? I'm not talking about words that might be offensive etc. And I know I sometimes leave words out just as a matter of fact but when I go back and edit to reinstall said words and they aren't there when I come back later... It's been a problem for quite a while now. I've edited my last post, no kidding, TWENTY times for missing words and garbled text. Text format changes because key words disappear from the format code I've entered. I wrote an erotic story back in August and the same thing happened there, just not as often. You have it right. The internet propagandists are out in force with absurd "news" articles for the last few days. They're making it all up as they go along, there isn't a shred of truth in it and it's working with the demographic they're targeting. Quoting William S. Burroughs quoting Hassan i Sabbah quot; Nothing is true therefore everything is permitted." This is the same nihilist philosophy that produced the Fascist dictatorships of the 1930s.
