Traveling this summer

My idea is to travel this summer. I want to just rent a camper and go traveling in whatever direction I feel like going. Stopping whenever I want and just being out there.

Of course it would be nice to have some destinations in mind to a certain degree. Like I really want to go to Phoenix Arizona and to California and through Nevada. I want to see the ocean and feel the sun on my skin and enjoy life.

My husband doesn't want me to go by myself but I really don't want him along. Besides I have the summer off and he doesn't. Is that wrong?

I want to travel Route 66 and other back roads. Who will I run into? What will I see? Will I be safe?

All good questions.

Advice anyone??????

 I live in up state ny there's a lot to see from water falls, lakes with winery, to 100 year old hand make caracell clean mountain air, RT 11 from PA.to Canada. There me . Car racing, hoarse racing , river rafting. There me. Cum see it for your self it as beautiful as you. Happy traveling this summer oh there my pool too. It can be hot at time August or just perfect 75 / 80. There me I'm just North of Binghamton,NY many out door parks with events and community with 4th of July all day at the fairgrounds food music races fireworks.and me

 1) It's not wrong.

2) Sounds like a great trip.

3) Renting a camper is better than getting a room every night. I'm sure someone out in the area will rent you one theyre not using or not using any more. Check the used car magazines to see whats out there.

4) You might have some safety issues in the southwest if you go to any of the out of the way places - or the off road camp sites. The major national parks etc should be ok - and they are great destinations. Dont forget to see the giant redwoods in California .... if they havent been burned down.

5) Driving across Texas seems like forever - but its only two or three days - lol

6) Be sure to get to Pikes Peak - find a guy and have sex in the area and you can join the 2 Mile High club without buying a plane ticket !

Thank you for all that great advice. I was hoping to have lots of sex along the way. Like can I have sex in every state? LOL I agree camping would be cheaper then a hotel everyday or even sleeping in the bed (camper would at least be safer). I just want to be free for a few weeks.
