Rock n Roll Hall of Fame
Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Tell would be the members of your dream band? 's the front person, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, a Jagger or a Springsteen or a Sinatra - Keith Richards and Dave Gilmour on guitar perhaps or a Jimi Hendrix or a Prince, - a Billy Joel playing the piano or Elton John - Phil Collins or Ringo on drums...do you have someone on the sax or trumpet... perhaps a Charlie Parker gets in ? So many options...let me know makes up your dream band? |

So who makes your dream band?

Phil Collins ... at the core of music it’s ultimately the beat and the count . You can never do without it. I love the drums... two reasons ... 1) they are rhythmic ... predictable but then surprising ... and 2) women drummers are damn sexy !

I like Blackberry Smoke - I'd do almost all the members of that band!

do you have someone on the sax Jr Walker or the guy from the Classics IV When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Not my genre McDeen, but I'd probably have Elvis singing, and Jimi H on lead guitar........strange mix that would have been. Tell us your please?

Oh, sure, ask a question I don’t have a short answer to? LOL Out front, you could have the ridiculous baritone of Barrence Whitfield, the what-was-that of Zappa, or the little-bit-crazy-ness of Nina Hagen? Guitar? Aw, man ... how do you choose - King, King, SRV, Knopfler, Clapton, Wray, Lifeson, Gilmour, Butler, James, Hendrix, Waters, Waters, Robillard, Buchanan, Anderson and so many others. But, for sheer genre versatility I’d choose Danny Gatton. On drums ... wouldn’t Tommy Lee be the most appropriate, for a discussion on this website? Choosing between Krupa, Rich and Peart? You’re right! All 3 it is! I never complain about a horn section (or “blow job”, as I’ve been known to refer to it as, which is probably why I like jump blues. It doesn’t even take much, as the two-piece horn section Colin James had at a live show added so much dimension. In terms of actual happenings, a live performance of Hey Joe by Jeff Healey and Lenny Kravitz (vocals only). or maybe Lindsay Buckingham’s “modern” solo version of I Go Insane rate waaaaay up there. Unfortunately, there are far too many R.I.P.s in there. I always wonder what Hendrix jammin’ with SRV would have sounded like ... -- allgud69xxx Yeah ... that's right ... I went there .. Yes ... yes, they are sexy. Phil has a Tyson air-drum solo to his credit. And the number of people l’ve come across who have Peart’s ‘94 solo?!? But only Buddy Rich had a drum battle with Animal ... so ... winner, winner? A-n-I-m-a-l. LOL I try to channel him when I’m fooling’ around on my kit? But, yeah, Neil is the winner. -- allgud69xxx Yeah ... that's right ... I went there .. Wanna msg, but can't - my Postbox blog Another way to say hi my Postbox
