What to do now?

So. How long is long enough? Do you stay in a relationship even after it is effectively "dead" because you agreed to the commitment at the beginning? I'm curious about other people takes on this question as I've been asking myself that a lot lately. Lol, since I've had no answers on my other posts, not really expecting comments this time either. Basically writing to clear my own head and post and pose questions to myself that I might not ask otherwise if I didn't take the time to write them down here.

On other subjects. Thinking of getting into writing via self-publishing (also a reason to practice my writing skills here ). Would mainly write in the LitRPG genre but would maybe also branch out into straight Fantasy with erotic overtones as well. Will post here as I get closer to releasing something and may post excerpts as well to hopefully spark interest! Let me know if you would be interested in receiving possible beta readings, always looking for victims, err, readers

 For me, I left when I was constantly miserable. Staying together in a toxic relationship for the kids does them no favors imho. They get two unhappy parents and a negative view of adult relationships. It wasn't easy, but my ex and I get along much better and our son is pretty terrific.
I am the only Me you get.

 Thanks for the advice Will probably be the final resolution, but will need to work the financial end first. Neither of us is happy at this point and we don't even talk anymore and have nothing really in common. Appreciate your input and glad things worked out well for you.
