There is quite a bit of discussion on this site about what approach guys should use when trying to meet women. The only criteria I'm interested in is: does the approach succeed. Take dic pics for example: some guys justify using dick pics on the basis that it's acceptable because it's a sex site. I think this is foolish. If using dick pics is getting the results you want then it's a good idea to keep using them, even if it pisses off some women. If using dick pics doesn't get the results you want you should stop using them, even though it's a sex site. Same for any other aspect of your approach. "It's a sex site", "you should expect that", "you shouldn't be so picky", etc are excuses used exclusively by fools with no game. The ONLY valid justification for any approach is "it's working for me" in which case you should keep using that approach regardless of what others think. Following my advice may cause injury, insanity, financial loss, hemorrhoids, death and superpowers

Such good advice for life in general. If it works ....carry on. However, if we WANT something different, we must DO something different~~

Good post... I would suggest a good success rate is 50% or more, but then men are lazy if they get one hit,,, why change anything!

First AMEN to this The ONLY valid justification for any approach is "it's working for me" Then . . . putting a number/percentage to a success rate here is pretty much a fools errand. There are variables that maybe the most aware guy(s) here can figure out, but there are very few here. I certainly am not one. I know what some are but how to apply that to a particular woman is the hard part (yes pun). Variables being; what does a particular woman want. Yes, you can read their profile easily enough but I find that about half(ish) of women's profiles tend to be sparse when it comes to useful info. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I completely agree with what you quoted IVF on but . . . there’s always a but huh? You also brought up one of the variables, dick pics. When I first started reading blogs I believed the whole ‘dick pic bad’ thing. However, I have come to see that the blogging women are not only a very small percentage of the female population on the site but they are also notably different than the general female population on the site. My unscientific estimate would be that the dick pic thing is a 50/50 split. That said playing it “safe” is the better option IMO. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

My view is that there are different categories of dick pic types. There are those who use a dick pic as their avatar (main profile pic), there are those who have (only) dick pics in their profile photo album(s), there are those who regularly post pics of their dicks on their profile's blog section. I have no problem with any of the above. All those photos are posted to their profile, and that is their right to do so. I don't hide the fact I will peruse profile info, including dick pics, at my leisure, and that does affect my selection process, either consciously or subconsciously. What I do have an issue with, is the users who shove their dick in my face to get my attention - those that introduce their dick as the first topic in their correspondence via IM or inbox.

I'm more of a fan of less is more.... I've met quite a few nice, interesting people in person from this site and found that taking the time to get to know someone a little before hand makes a huge difference in the 'in person' meet. But, that's me, and what works for me doesn't necessarily work for everyone else.
