A one bedroom, rented before the previous tenant was scheduled to move out. Hate it when the Property Manager does that to us. It comes from letting people tour other units of the like that themselves have already been rented. Sure it's great to get places rented, but it's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you going to get once the outgoing tenant moves out of the place that no ones seen in a year or more. Thankfully this tenant left the unit in good shape. Though I did have to pull the carpet and padding out of the place, ( Pet stains and a smell issue ) and with all units the place needed painting as well as a good cleaning. Not a deep cleaning mind you just a spruce up to do those things most people don't think to clean. Like windows, high dusting and the like. With the carpet installer coming in today to do his work and the painting having been done the minute I left yesterday after finishing my work the place should be ready by it's move in date this Friday. I have my next Doctor's appointment coming up in a couple of weeks. I don't look forward to it, well I do in some ways. I have some things I need to go over with her as I've said. But I know this time she'll be sending me in to get blood work done. To see how the medications are doing in controlling my high blood pressure. I should be good, on that front. Taking my medications every day, and the last blood work showed I was doing well so... It's just actually getting the blood drawn that I dread. For some reason I always get the novice doing the work. They end up sticking me three or four times before they hit a vein. Often switching arms and still not getting it right. A person starts to feel like a pin cushion after a bit. Ah well, time for me to jump into the shower now....

When you get to the lab, tell them you are a hard stick and need the most experienced person. Or find a new lab with better trained staff. Also drink lots of water before going.
