hey baby, what's your sign?
so there i am, at a relatively adult dinner party, between two seemingly professional men and one leans over and asks "hey baby what's your sign?"

it's a question i remember from the sixties that survived into the seventies but not much longer than that. i haven't heard it since then except as a joke. so i laughed. but no, he was serious. so i told him.



he then turned from me like i had fleas or worse and refused to speak to me again for the duration of the dinner.

i have perhaps lost touch with the zodiac references and the saturn cycles, moon signs and sun signs but back in the day i was rather proud of my sign and now, well i was wondering what had happened to make a double Aquarius with a moon in aries so....despicable.

so fellow bloggers....if anyone knows or if you'd just like to discuss your own sign and tell us why it's so faboo....comment away.

i know that i am supposedly socially conscious, visionary, empathetic, intellectual, a bit eccentric, often lonely, impatient, compassionate and given to roaming. my moon helps to stabilize some of that. i am drawn to sag but i really need stronger stable signs to be effective. and the ocean is my queen.

 I'm a pisces with taurus rising. Christy did my chart for me a few years ago. It was spot on. Maybe she can do one for you.

 he was an idjit. you are a fascinating and vibrant woman, no matter what your sign.

I am a libra, but I don't really believe in it. although the ' dark side' libra profile that a friend wrote a few years back fit me to a T - I do have a definite tendency to narcissism.

has occasion to "rise" anymore!

I never got into all of the astrology stuff in 60's, and I've never been to a fortune teller at a county fair. I do eat Chinese food and read the fortunes in those Chinese fortune cookies!

did you know i have a ghost living in my house. i do. the pagan witch who lived downstairs for 8 years told me so. he's benign but a bit of a prankster. he moves things about. and here i thought it was the cleaning ladies.

 Oh dear, Wicked. I am still chuckling at your story and the various responses. For the record, I'm pices, but have no idea what or how that impacts my life. Ok, I live on the shore ...
