Oh you should care and it is nice that you even take the time to express your despair. I’m sorry but I do disagree because I find your spectacular bum to be second to none. I have long argued that the contests run on this site aren't actually contests. A contest has strict definitions by law on how they are run so that they are fair to everyone taking part - when is the closing date, how the winner(s) are chosen, what do the winners receive, etc. Plus a contest has to have some kind of skill or competitive element in taking part, hence the word "Contest". Pitching a number of photographs against each other and asking viewers to select their favourite is not a contest. What the site run is a Prize Draw. Fine if that's what they want to do, but they should never call it a contest, because it is not a contest. For those reasons I have never got involved in contests or prize draws the site runs. Some years back I knew someone from the chat room who would enter a few photos in a contest and ask some of the members to help out. As it was a site friend I was happy to make an exception to my rules and to put my vote towards her photos. I think she had submitted five photos to this particular contest and all of them got through to the second round. But despite three of those five being in the top ten for reaching the final as voted on by the members, they were all eliminated. Why? Because one person (or the reviewing team) arbitrarily decided she would be eliminated and nothing to do with how popular the pictures were with the voting public despite their own contest "rules" stating "Those votes count!". No, they don't. Sorry, I've gone on a bit too long here. Feel free to share your feelings on the Support blog, but don't expect anything to change.
