In a few months' time, this island girl will be moving to a bigger island.
It is really exciting and my husband asks me to start looking for suitable single male and/or couple for more adventure and to be our special friends.
I can't wait and the journey is as exciting as the destination.
Some recent observations: I have been told often that my pics are hot, sexy and a turn-on. But it isn't often I get compliments on my profile and what I wrote with heart and sincerity. And when I do get a nice feedback on my profile, I tend to pay attention to those emails. The ones that tell me that I got sexy pics, well they just get left on the wayside.

It would seem that even seemingly intelligent couples do not read profiles when I have clearly written in the introduction part that we are now a couple. And when I tell them that I have clearly written in my profile that we do not meet people without each other. I was then accused of deceiving people because it was "not a couple" profile. Guess they were just didn't bother to read the first lines of my profile to fathom that, surprise surprise!, this is a couple profile.
Is it because they are too lazy, too stupid, too dense? And prefer to lash out at me because they didn't bother to do their homework.
Guess what? The single fem who is happy to join other couples for threesome and with no strings attached, is a bit o f a unicorn. You can try but she is an elusive creature. There are very few and far in-between. A large portion of women are generally not built that way psychologically; to deal with threesomes and yet without any emotional attachment. Good luck to couples looking for that!

I get that for non-paying members, they are not able to read the profile if they do not pay for it. But for other silver and gold members, yet I find that some people do ignore what I have written on my profile.
I clearly indicate that I do not judge people who choose to step out on their partners but I do not want to be a party to that. It is quite obvious that if you are married or attached, it is just a waste of time to write to me. And it also annoys me to no end.
In my profile, it is also stated that I do not entertain travellers but there are plenty of other women who do do, so again it is obvious that I will not respond to emails or messages if you are just passing through Singapore. Yet they still write.
But perhaps that is the nature of Black Flirting and the fact that there is no downside to writing that email or sending that IM, hoping that it will pan out. Absolutely nothing to lose; since that membership is already paid or there is no membership to pay. And maybe she will write back!
Oh yes, one more thing while I am on the subject of not responding, if you have a dick pic as your profile, there is only an ice-cube chance in hell that you will hear from me

Once again, AshleyMadison is in the news as the hackers have now dumped caches of information on the dark web of email addresses, credit card details and transactions and internal emails at Avid Media including those of the Noel Biderman, the CEO of Avid Media Life; the parent company which owns AM. I am reading the news items with a lot of amusement and schadenfreude. Also the first divorce proceedings have already started in the UK as spouses are searching through the email databases of the posted information by the hackers. This is going to snowball and I see hordes of divorce lawyers rubbing their hands in glee!
One particular piece of news by CNN Money was that the hack had also revealed that nearly all of Ashley Madison's customers were men -- 90% to 95%, according to experts who analyzed the leaked documents. Most of the "women" listed on the site were actually fake accounts created by scammers or are sex workers.
Once again, it proves my point; most if not all hookup sites are going to be full of faked women or working girls looking for a payout but with genuine men. On the other hand, regular dating sites are full of genuine women with tonnes of male profiles that are faked and of Nigerian origin preying on the desperateness of some women on those dating sites.
It points to a fundamental difference between men and women and their time and energy investment when the objective is sex. As one writer puts it, "The whole point is that women don’t have to be particularly hot to get sex. What does it matter to a woman that she could end up having sex with somebody/anybody from a bar/club/website if there’s no one that she’s interested in?"
Absolutely none.
Furthermore the double standard is alive and well; a man who have many sexual conquest is a stud and a woman who have multiple partners is a slut. So women have reasons to be more discerning even with short term sex partners.
I am sure that there will be a lot more news (amusing and otherwise) about AM and I will read them with relish.

Words that are simply unattractive in a profile

This really only applies to me. Whenever I see the words 'bored' or 'simple' or 'lonely' in a person's profile, it is a complete turnoff for me.
Boredom is purely a choice; why be bored when there is literally 100 millions things to do? It tells of someone who has very few interests beyond themselves. Read a book, go for a walk, talk to a friend on the phone or even write a blog! There is absolutely no excuse to be bored except maybe if you are serving a life sentence in solitary confinement.
By the same token, loneliness can also be a state of choice; if we take care of our mental health, loneliness can be eliminated. Alone doesn't mean lonely either; it means being centred and self-aware.
And simple doesn't work very well; an intellectual man is a very sexy man. Simple to me is someone that may not have much to say to me or tell me.
As I had earlier mentioned, this is only my opinion.

When Ashley Madison announced their plans to set up a Singapore site, the patriarchal government in this country immediately set up a roadblock and denied them access; claiming that their business model was a direct conflict with the Asian moral values of this country.
And this past week, AM was back in the limelight again; its 37 million users information had been hacked; there are a lot of politicians I am sure who have been shitting bricks for the past week as the group involved start to reveal the identities of the people signed on the site.
I had a good laugh at that; as if Singaporean men and women needed any motivation to commit adultery. In fact I applauded AM with their smart business model based on an activity that we have have doing since the dawn of time. Even monogamous pair-bounded early humans frequently engaged in liaison outside of the pair bond couple; especially the women as they were brought additional food and resources by men that were not their main companion and help-mate.
Heck; just looked at Black Flirting where at least 8 out of 10 men who emailed me or instant messaged me are married or attached. I am sure that the numbers of similarly fettered women are just as numerous so I am not singling out men. Women are just as capable of cheating on their partners. In case those of you who did not notice the small print, Black Flirting was also hacked recently.
So we do not need to raise our clubs at AM; self-righteousness and moralistic bent notwithstanding. It is a viable business model and people will continue to cheat behind their partners' back till the end of time so why not make money out of it! As long as it is consensual and safe, those of us living in glass buildings should be the last to throw bricks.
